Дана робота є оригінальною кавер-версією гімну норвезького культового black-metal гурту Burzum “Dunkelheit” (темрява, морок) в ембіентному, дарквейвовому та дещо психоделічному виконанні „Сеансу 11” з Івано-Франківська. Відео на цей трек витримане в холоднокровній та майже філософській атмосфері, що занурює глядача у саркастичне середовище, сповнене язичницьких та магічних натяків і знаків. Написи, виконані рукою в архаїчній манері, змішуються з іраціональними та подекуди панічними пошуками в лісах українських Карпат та покинутих закутках міста. Це вводить глядача в стан тривожної млості та медитації. Два уривки з ‘The Limbonic Pseudoverses’ Йорґе Андерссена та кілька зашифрованих посилань на ісландську едду доповнюють враження від перегляду та ще інтенсивніше огортають анабіотичною атмосферою. SHORT REVIEW FOR SESSION’S 11 VIDEO “DUNKELHEIT, LIMBO VERSION”
An original cover version of well-known Burzum hymn “Dunkelheit” this time was performed by SESSION 11 from western ukrainian town of Ivano Frankivsk, in an ambient, darkwave and a bit psychedelic way. Their video work for this track represents the specific cold-blooded and nearly philosophic atmosphere that puts the audience into the grim humour outlook, filled with heathen and magical hints and intimations. The handmade inscriptions are performed in archaic manner and mixed with the irrational and even panic quests in the forests of Carpathia and deserted and destroyed city backyards. It brings the spectator into a state of anxious languor and meditation-like ‘gloomy soulscape’. Two extracts from ‘The Limbonic Pseudoverses’ by Jorge Anderssen and some cryptic references to the old icelandic Snorri Edda supplement the common impression and intensify the feeling of wrapping anabiotic atmosphere. Sort of short enigmatic report from the vague fancies and dim depths of us.
